Time Cut stars Madison Bailey and Antonia Gentry in a mind-bending horror-thriller that follows two high school friends, Zoe (played by Gentry) and Harper (played by Bailey), who accidentally find themselves trapped in a nightmarish time loop. The film begins innocently enough, with the girls attending a typical high school party. However, as they wander off to explore an abandoned warehouse nearby, they unknowingly step through a portal that transports them into an alternate version of their reality.
They soon realize that every time they attempt to escape, they end up back at the beginning of the night, forced to relive the same sequence of terrifying events. Each loop intensifies, with new dangers and horrific encounters that grow increasingly violent. Initially, Zoe and Harper think they can simply wait it out or avoid trouble, but every decision they make triggers worse outcomes. As they try to figure out what’s going on, they uncover clues about the portal and realize they aren’t the first ones to get trapped—others have tried to escape but failed, leaving a trail of disturbing evidence behind.
The real horror sets in when they encounter sinister versions of themselves, who seem bent on keeping them in the loop forever. The girls grapple with fear, frustration, and betrayal as they realize the only way out may involve sacrificing one another. In a climactic twist, Zoe figures out that one person must stay behind to break the loop. Harper, in an act of loyalty, decides to stay behind, allowing Zoe to escape. But just as Zoe steps back into her world, she hears a familiar sound, hinting that the loop may not have fully ended.
The film concludes with Zoe’s unsettling realization that she may never truly be free, leaving audiences on edge and setting up potential for a sequel or an ambiguous interpretation of her fate.
